Located in the former guardhouse just across from the Citadelle Souterraine in Verdun, visitors discover a museography that bears witness to the daily life of soldiers by following the path of Michel Dupré, a draftsman from Mayenne who joined the army in August 1914, and that of Pierre Brancher, a photographer in the same regiment. The private collection of Camille Tridon is presented: drawings, photographs, objects and costumes of Poilus.
On the spot, a store of militaria and the restaurant La Cantine des Poilus.
