The site of the last offensive wanted by Marshal Foch on 10 and 11 November 1918, it was here that the cease-fire was sounded by Private 1st Class DELALUQUE. The last official casualty of the Great War, Augustin-Joseph TREBUCHON, who fell 17 minutes before the cease-fire, is buried in the communal cemetery of Vrigne-Meuse.
